With reference to previous telegraphic corres-

have been successful in procuring the handcarts

ordered by the Governor of Hong Kong, as per copy

of contract herewith enclosed. The carts are to

be shipped by the Japanese Steamship "Taiko Maru*

leaving this port on or about the 24th instant.
